Interim Head Coach - Renna Bersosa is entering her 13th year of education and her 3rd at Prosper High School. Coach Bersosa is originally from west Texas. She is a 2003 graduate of Abilene Cooper High School where she was a 4 year letterman and 1st Team All-District all 4 years as a catcher. She went to McMurry University and graduated with a BS in Interdisciplinary Studies with Minor in Math. In 2014 she completed her Masters in Education Administration at Texas A&M Commerce. She previously coached volleyball and softball at Abilene High School and Allen High School. Most recently, she coached softball at Plano Sr High School which included a UIL 6A State Tournament Semi-Finalist. Coach Bersosa enjoys attending sporting events, traveling, exploring nature, and checking things off her buckets list. She is happily married and lives life to the fullest. Her favorite quote is “Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.”- Confucius. Coach Bersosa teaches Math and coaches volleyball and softball at Prosper High School.

Coach Cori Cate is entering her 5th year of coaching and her first year coaching at PHS. Prior to PHS, Coach Cate coached at Reynolds MS in PISD. From 2018-2020 Cate was the volleyball varsity assistant/head JV coach at Boyd High School where they were the 2018 state runner-ups. Coach Cate is originally from Lovington, New Mexico. There, she was a back-to-back basketball state champion in 2012 and 2013. She also won state in high jump her senior year. She played 4 years of collegiate volleyball at West Texas A&M University. During her time there, she earned a Bachelor’s in Sports Exercise Science as well as her Master’s in Business Administration. Coach Cate and her husband, Jared Cate, have two sons named Canyon (20 months) and Crosby (3 months).
