Head Coach - Ali Baird
Coach Baird is beginning her 10th year in teaching and coaching, and her 1st year at Prosper High School. She graduated from Flower Mound High School where she played softball for four years, and then she earned a scholarship to play softball for two years at Northeast Texas Community College where she graduated with an Associates Degree in Science. Coach Baird was an outfielder and slapper, who thrived on making the big plays on defense and creating chaos on the bases and as a slapper. After two years, she realized she was called to get into coaching and teaching, so she decided to hang up her cleats and she started coaching select softball for the Dallas Tigers and then Glory Adkins. During her time at UNT, she was a Kappa Kappa Gamma (where she obviously was in charge of chapter intramurals). Coach Baird graduated from The University of North Texas in May of 2013 with a Bachelors of Arts in English Language Arts with a minor in Secondary Education.
In the fall of 2017, she married Alex Baird in Dallas. They currently love to watch movies, travel, and spoil their fur-child, Sullivan. He is a Mini Bernedoodle who loves to run the house.
Coach Baird is extremely excited about this opportunity to grow personally and professionally while trying to make a lasting impact on the Prosper Softball program and community. Let’s Go Eagles!!
